Spring Cleaning

Spring is upon us and hopefully you’re enjoying a season of delicious sunshine, outdoor activities, and the warmth of friendly gatherings.  Spring can also be a time to take inventory of our lives and belongings, shed unwanted baggage, and invite new energy into our spaces.  The season inspires us to go out with the old and in with the new.  Spring encourages us to rethink, remove, and re-envision.  In the upcoming posts, we will provide tips for Spring cleaning.  Happy Spring!

Re-envision Your Space-   Thinking about painting that accent wall?  Paint it.  Want to reorganize the furniture in your living room? Do it. Want to purchase patio furniture? Purchase it (after you budget for it, of course).  Our homes are extensions of our personal style.  And there is no reason why our spaces shouldn’t be as dapper we are.  Cheers!

TipMose’s Spring Cleaning Continues…

Organize your Closet- Organizing your closet can be the first step to getting your life in order and organizing the rest of your home.  Replace cool weather apparel with warm weather clothing.  Get rid of unused clothes and accessories and donate them.  Organize your closet by color and patterns and by how you get dressed each morning.  The clothes and shoes you wear the most should be the most accessible.  Your closet will look appealing and save you time.

Remove Stains and Eliminate Odors- Remember that red wine stain that you keep hidden with a rug? Now is a good time to employ a good stain remover and carpet cleaner to clean your carpeted floors.  Vacuum and shampoo rugs.  Keep your home smelling fresh by investing in candles, incense, and/or electric air fresheners.  Nothing is more inviting than a home that smells good!

Fall Trend 2013 - step up your boots game!
Darker hues equals dressier. Dark chocolate complements a navy suit.
Lighter shades of brown works well with dark casual chinos.
A colorful or white sole grounds a casual look perfectly and makes for a great pop of color.

There is nothing better than investing in one’s self, particularly one’s body.  This picture has been all over Facebook and we couldn’t help but to post it as a reminder that exercise whenever possible is in our best interest.  WE know it’s difficult sometimes to figure out how to manage the time in our busy schedules but these few tips may help with that.
